Nell’elaborare la lista dei file duplicati mi sono accorto che considera duplicati file con stessa data, stesso volume ma con nome differente. Questo non è un parametro corretto! Come rimediare?
Duplicate files can have different names but the same content.
(eg, Photo-01 and Phot-02 could be the same photograph with different names).
With older versions of CCleaner you could filter just what the Duplicate finder would match for.
However the Duplicate finder in CCleaner 7 no longer has selectable filters like the one in older CCleaner versions had.
WARNING-
DO NOT simply use the CCleaner7 Duplicate Finder and then ‘Batch Select’ and Delete every duplicate that it has found.
If you do that you WILL break your machine.
That’s because in CCleaner7 the Duplicatee finder has no filters and so by default it will find duplicate System (and application) files that are needed for your machine to work properly.
If you delete those then your machine stops working properly (or stops working at all).
If you have to use the Duplicate Finder in CCleaner 7 the be sure to unselect such files before deleting.
If you don’t know how to identify which are the system files and which are your own files thenyou are best to leave the Duplicate Finder alone.
If/when you have deleted the needed system file duplicates then you can try using DISM and SFC to repair the system.
If you can’t even get into Windows to run DISM/SFC then try the Windows Startup Repair tool:
Grazie molte per i chiarimenti. Nel mio caso uso la funzione “trova duplicati” esclusivamente per le foto. Preso atto che i filtri all’interno dell’applicazione non sono in linea coi miei desiderata, meglio è se non la uso. Ciao. Paolo
Thanks very much for the clarifications. In my case I use the “find duplicates” function exclusively for photos. Having noted that the filters within the application are not in line with my desires, it is better if I don’t use it. HI. Paolo
