I recently renewed my subscription for ccleaner on my Windows laptop but the application would not load efficiently and despite herculean efforts from Pavel the problem could not be solved. I’m now advised that the latest ccleaner will not run on Windows 7.
I run the free version of ccleaner on my Apple laptop. Can I transfer my paid subscription to a new passcode for the Apple system? Or return my paid subscription?
That’s correct; however you can still use the “Sunset” version of CCleaner for Windows 7.
You can download it from here:
Once installed enter your licence key as usual to register/activate it as Pro:
https://support.ccleaner.com/s/article/how-to-register-and-activate-ccleaner-professional?language=en_US
However if you want to transfer a subscription from PC to Mac (or try to get a refund) then you will need to contact support for that:
All customers can now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request.
Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you. If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.
Note - We have been told that you HAVE TO engage with the chat or you may not get a reply to your request form. (Seems daft to me, but that is what we have been told).
Thanks for that. I saved my subscription key but as a 24 digit number. It seems I need to know the gaps or dashes - can you help?
All is well now. Thank you for your patience !
