I’ve just gone CC Cleaner Professional and it has taken out my touch screen facility on my HP laptop.
What parts of CCleaner did you use, health check, custom clean, registry, performance optimization?
Performance optimisation. After two hours on the phone to HP Support the laptop has the dreaded blue screen and is being sent to HP for repair. Thanks very much!!! A refund would be good because I’ll never use your product again.
I’m only guessing here, but did you just put everything listed to sleep?
In such a situation then you look to see what related to your touchscreen Performance Optimiser has put to sleep, and simply wake it up again.
It will almost certainly be some service/app from HP that has been put to sleep when it should have been left running.
Or simply wake everything up again.
However if your machine is now BSOD’ing after HP support have been on the job without knowing that it was just asleep then it sounds as if something more serious has now been messed up by whatever HP support told you to do, or did themselves if they remoted in.
