Installed the latest version of CCleaner, did a clean, and got this screen:
If you add all the totals, it comes out to just over 3GB, yet CCleaner reports that it removed 7GB at the top of the results.
Any reason why?
Are you using multiple versions of Internet Explorer ?
No, just the one. I don't even use IE... Haven't opened it in months.
Just did another clean, happened again ?
Does it appear at every clean ?
If so, please untick everything, and then :
1/ Tick the first checkbox
2/ Run Cleaner
3/ If the amount of removed data is normal, tick another checkbox.
4/ Go to step 2.
You'll eventually find the buggy item - that will help the devs
I tried, couldn't find the buggy item. The calculations seem to be off in the latest version of CCleaner.
Either it's a bug, or its cleaning something but not reporting.
Isn't it related to the fact that you have really big files in the Recycle Bin ?
