Iam using the Latest version of CCleaner of my Win 10, 64-bit OS.
This --"6MB removed" value continues to sustain regardless of the number of attempts made towards System cleaning!
I have never witnessed 0MB removed!
Can someone please help explain this anomaly to me?

Ccleaner 5.24 should be out soon which should hopefully fix some of the many bugs reported in build 5.23.
Perhaps just hang on a short while for the release, to see if yours in one of the issues that will be fixed.
my guess is it's files that can't be cleaned because they are locked by either the system or by yourself.
so with that in mind, close out of all your programs and try again - but things like your AV software will have, for example, .log files always open which CC just can't access.
your best bet at achieving the best results would be to run CC with the PC in Safe Mode.
hang on, I may have your issue upside down...
are you saying you can't get that last 6MB to clean, or that it only ever cleans 6MB???
if the later, same theory would apply. there will be something, like your AV, re-creating something as soon as you clean it.
but really, 6MB isn't anything to worry about, is it?
- You're not using Edge ? I thought Win 10 came with Edge only ? Perhaps Ccleaner confuses Edge with Internet Explorer ?

I have "Upgraded" to the Latest release & yet these leftovers fail to go away!
I remember that within Win XP -- CCleaner often used to portray 0MB removed at the end!..but that's not with Win 10!?
How can one be convinced over a thorough cleaning then?

I just ran CC v5.21 four times on Win10 and each time it got closer to 0 with the last one only finding 8KB to remove in Windows Explorer - Thumbnail Cache.
And two more runs after that still find the same 8KB.
It just is what it is.
Windows 10 has many, many more background useless services running compared to XP.
have you tried the Safe Mode option, it'll be your best chance of cleaning the maximum amount of stuff without any other activity running.
perhaps expecting CC to eventually find 0KB of stuff is like trying to get a 0% fragmented drive - just not possible.
and even if you could, 5 minutes of usage is going to spoil all that effort.
I know on my mothers Win10 laptop as soon as cleaning is done some of the junk immediately comes back as if the OS is re-downloading it and needs it.
Hi, the "Internet Explorer - Temporary Internet Files" file is one that is recreated by IE after it is cleaned. This file grows over time and when CCleaner cleans it, it deletes the whole file and then IE recreates it at 5121kb. It will slowly get bigger over time from this point if you don't run CCleaner.
All in all, this means CCleaner will always display that much data as cleaned as this is what it is actually cleaning. I hope this helps

Why CCleaner is falsely projecting a frivolous cleaning for IE when the same is never accessed & used at first place?
Why's the CCleaner's Clock is STUCK at 5MB removed, 5MB removed.....on a forever basis!?...& never able to show up 0MB removed??

- What's the name of that file and in what folder is it located ? what are the attibutes of that file ? (screenshot ?).
- Has it the same name as the one in that other thread ?

as stated before and in other threads, YOU may not use IE but WINDOWS does - constantly.
Windows, IE, and a whole bunch of other Microsoft legacy systems share dynamic link libraries and file repositories.
right click on that entry shown in your screen shot and select View detailed results.
then each one of those items displayed can be right clicked and Add to exclude list.
this will then allow you many restful night sleeps.
