Thunderbird Temp Picture Files - Windows 7 - Not being deleted

The folder

c:\Users\username\appdata\local\TEMP is not currently being deleted in version 3.10.1525 (64bit)

This is the folder Thunderbird uses as a temporary area when one right clicks on a jpg file to send a picture to a mail recipient.

I attempted to add a custom folder to delete but the ccleaner does not delete files that begin with "~".

I received the error "For safety reasons you cannot select this specific location"

How can I delete all Thunderbird picture files and directories from this TEMP directory.

The files in %temp% that won't delete (especially those that start with ~) are locked by a program. exit the program and they will either self delete or allow deletion via ccleaner.

I had no problem adding a ~ file to my includes

Use the program unlocker (you can get it from cnet.com downloads) to make sure they are locked by thunderbird.
