There is no way I have found to install CC Cleaner Version 7

On 1 Oct and 14 Oct 25, I tried to install V7 on my W11 Desktop Computer but the installation just hangs up and displays some CC Cleaner page that asks me if I want to install it again.

My control panel tells me I have V7 installed but it will not run properly.

My only solution is to uninstall V7 and then install the older version 6.9 - then set the “OPTIONS so that CC Cleaner will not automatically update.

I do not know what the solution is to make it work. I thought waiting 2 weeks form 1 Oct to 14 Oct would do the trick assuming Version 7 had a bug that CC Cleaner would fix. But I had no luck with that.

Things I tried but did not work were: try these solutions: restarted my computer, ran CCleaner as an administrator, and temporarily disable my antivirus.

I am running W11 Pro (24H2 and 64 bit).

We’ve had lots of reports of this welcome screen issue and there’s a work round (it works for most):

Go into Windows Settings and set the display scale to 100%.
Run CCleaner 7 and get past the Welcome Screen.
Set your display scale back to what it was.

CC Cleaner should acknowledge this bug and fix it and give customers a bug free installer
