The Sidbar Syndrome

I came across a pretty intresting blog post on digg:

http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/the_s...ar_syndrome.php

Its talking about all of the sidebar programs for firefox that have been popping up.

Personally I cant stand having a sidebar open. The only one who I think got it right is interestingly enough IE7. The bookmark bar there is just perfect for what I want. Its clean and simple and it goes away after I choose a bookmark. Perfect. :)

I am a big fan of side bars. For Firefox I use the All In One Side Bar extension and set it up to be on the right of my screen and auto hide. All I have to do is move my cursor to the right side of the screen and it opens the side bar. I also set Opera up to have the side bar on my right. I never leave the side bar open thats just a waste of space.
