Thank you and an idea

First, thank you very much for CCleaner. It's an excellent tool. It always surprises me how much random extra stuff is stored on my computers.

Second, I've been considering writing a tool like this for myself for a while: I figure it would be useful to have a program that allows me to search my multimedia files by the last time I accessed them, allows me to preview them, and of course decide to delete them. After all, if I haven't looked at a given set of pictures for three years, I either want to know about them and see them again, or get rid of them. I've got gigs of pictures and videos that I really don't want to spend the time organizing, and having something like this to more quickly weed out old files would be great.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but X-Cleaner (xblock.com) has a little known feature (Pictures) that enables you to examine an entire hard drive at once, find all the pics that were left behind, and delete the ones you don't need anymore with one click.
