Every time I run CCleaner Analyze it picks up ''Internet Explorer - Temporary Internet Files''.
I have not had Internet Explorer installed on my computer since I bought the computer as we uninstalled it almost immediately. Sometimes it scans upto 80 temp files and a few "Internet Explorer - Cookies".
Not great with computers so I'll put whatever I can:
Downloaded from Piriform
CCleaner Free
v5.04.5151 (64-bit)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 8.0GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Internet explorer in deeply embedded in windows, various aspects of the operating system and many third party applications use it for rendering, thus it creates files even if you don't use it as a browser
Even if you "uninstall" it using some 3rd party tool some of the rendering engine is left behind, and complete removal of it makes Windows look really goofy and broken. You'd be surprised how many software titles require the IE rendering engine to function.
