* suffix in Applications tab using CCEnhancer

have recently added CCEnhancer software to CCleaner which hugely expands the cleaning list in Applications tab

but was Is the meaning of the * suffix added to some of the Titles [mostly sub-titles but not all] CCleaner is shown as CCleaner*

is it safe to check ALL boxes of installed software ?

checking the I.E box seemed to suggest deleteting huge amounts previously missed by CCleaner ?

is there any safe protocol for checking this extended list ?

CCEnhancer is not made or supported by Piriform (the makers of CCleaner) so unfortunately we are not able to give advice on its usage here on forum...sorry.
