Why is CC asking for my password at least twice each time I use it?

sadly, it's a know issue with that release. 

the Admins/Devs are aware of it.

also, sadly, true. :)

Mac releases are few and far between. 

(plus no-one seems quiet sure if it's a bug, undesirable feature, or 'just is' because of the way Macs are)
