Stuck on patching up your PC

hello can anyone help me i got stuck on patching up your PC . after the scan when i click make your PC feel better it just stuck there . i already reinstall the CCleaner and restart my PC the problem is still there. it work fine when i first buy it. still work fine on my mac and android it just the window app. i already exclude the CCleaner from my AV so it shoul not has this issue.

updated!! : solved i just go to the lost licence key to make ccleaner send me a activation key and it also contain a download link when i install that version it work fine now

Good to hear that you got it working again.

Occasionally the download of an install or update will go a bit wrong and cause something odd to happen, like that 'sticking.

Downloading a new installer and reinstalling using that new download will usually sort out odd little issues like that one.

Actually, downloading the newest version ... ccsetup621_slim.exe... does not fix the problem. CCleaner continues to freeze on 'Patching up your PC' even with the latest software.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled to no avail, it still freezes ( windows 10)

I have uninstalled/ reinstalled ( twice) to no avail.

Also weird that Kamo says it blocked 100 tracking thingys, yet ccleaner says I have 6,000 trackers to clean - but does not work

Perhaps Piriform or whoever could send out an email with a fix.

@JohnRichard I suggest that you use Custom Clean until this issue with Health Check is fixed.

Just use the default settings in Custom Clean, don't change any tickboxes.

Per your advice, I waited and now Health check ran and removed all that were found, 234 Trackers, 2.51MB of trash. Systems all seem to hiccough at times. Thanks for prompt response.

Having the same problem as many of you on my Windows10 PC. Hangs at cleanup. Claims it has found over 3,000 items to remove! I DOUBT THAT! Have never seen more than a few hundred. I don't surf porn or crap sites! Paying for Pro subscription and am supposed to get "priority" support response. AM NOT IMPRESSED! Will not be renewing my subscription and will begin the search for a more reliable "cleaner".

OK .... I don't think CCLEANER wants to admit the 'current version ccsetup621' is buggy. It is - and the basic health check can slow to a crawl or just stop. I reinstalled an OLDER VERSION ccsetup619 and everything worked just fine. Fast, too. I'll continue to ignore their 'update now' messages until a new bug free version comes out.

How will you know, if you ignore updates, when an update fixes it. Just casually wondering

Admin has said they have found the cause of this issue and the fix will be in the March release.

We are now also told that a temporary fix is in place and being automatically distributed.

Health Check should now start workng again for those who were affected by this issue.

The full fix will then be applied with the March update.
