How do i stop the CC cleaner nag scree around Health Check from showing up every day. it shows up even after i do a health check. If I am paying for this software I want to interact with it on my schedule
in ccleaner’s “options” try adjusting the settings, there, to the way that you want them.
incidently, there are settings, there, for cookies that you want to save, in order to stay logged in to particular websites that you want to stay logged in to.
also, if you have ccleaner blocked from access to the internet, that can cause problems particularly with seeing ccleaner-prompts, over and over and over again, like the ones that you are complaining about.
i don’t see any need for blocking ccleaner’s access to the internet.
there is no setting that stops this. i dont have cc cleaner blocked from the internet. i just want the nag screen to stop popping up for paid software
i would think that you probably have some “automation” set in ccleaner’s settings and that is why you are seeing the prompts to run ccleaner.
if ccleaner wasn’t running in the background it wouldn’t be popping up prompts to run ccleaner.
if you have some kind of automation set in ccleaner’s settings, that would require that it runs automatically in the background.
i suppose that first you need to prove to yourself that ccleaner is running automatically in the background and then adjust ccleaner’s settings to where it doesn’t continue running automatically in the background.
i am running windows 10. i am not familiar with windows 11. with windows 10 you can go to “settings/apps/startup” to see which programs are set to run automatically. also, you need to look in windows “task scheduler” to see if there are tasks, there, that are causing ccleaner to run automatically.
you could open windows “task manager” to see which programs are running on your computer, to see if ccleaner is running. incidentally, with windows 10, in task manager, you also can acess “startup” to see which programs are set to run automatically at startup.
