CCleaner keeps spamming with add’s EVERY time I start this app it shows me the “Health Check” screen with a scrolling add banner on the bottom!

Getting sick of this …

If I was using the free version I would expect some advertising

Hi @craigathus,
To disable these offers, please follow these steps:

  1. Open CCleaner for Windows

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu

  3. Select Privacy

  4. Uncheck “Share app-usage data with CCleaner so we may offer you upgrades or our other products”

If you continue to see offers after making this change, please do let me know and I’ll be happy to investigate further.

@craigathus If you do want to remove your post, you can do so by clicking the bin icon next to it.

That said, please don’t worry — it wasn’t a silly question at all! It’s a perfectly reasonable thing to wonder about, and questions like this are genuinely useful to other users who may be wondering the same thing.
