When I use Startup under Tools to rid my system of HP and MS startup CRAP, it keeps reappearing the very next time I start up the computer. I have the most recent version of C Cleaner. I run Spybot & Zone Alarm. I don?t know if somehow Spybot is reinstalling the stuff? I'm using an AMD Athlon 64, 3500+ & Micro s**t Media Center V. 2002.

Experiencing the same behavior.
Since running CCleaner 2.x beta I can no longer delete items on Startup panel, they re-appear (don't get deleted from registry at all).
Using Vista Ultimate English 32 bit.

I have been having a problem using this feature as well, however I don't have a problem with the deleted items returning. The items I want to remove are never removed after I highlight them and affirm that I want them removed. I am running Windows Vista. I'm not sure which version of CCleaner I have, but I downloaded it recently if that helps at all.
