Startup Manager doesn't work and Software updater Crashes

I just signed up for an annual subscription but am disappointed to see that Startup Manager doesn’t work and Software Updater keeps crashing and Duplicate finder takes hours and is still going. If id know this is how the the software worked, i never would’ve signed up.

Is there even a solution to those issues?

Be very, very, careful with that Duplicate Finder in CCleaner7.

There are no ‘Match By’ or ‘Ignore’ settings like there used to be in Previous versions - so it will find ALL duplicate files on your machine; including thoses that are needed by Windows and Apps.

If you then use the new ‘Batch Select’ to select everything found and Delete them all then your machine WILL stop working properly.

We have already heard from several users who have done just that and have then had to Repair or Reinstall Windows and their apps.

Thank you for your reply. But duplicate finder never finished finding anything. It ran for 8hrs and was still going. Software and Driver updater doesn’t work, it just shows what needs to be updated but the moment i try to update even one software, it freezes my computer.

And i don’t know why the startup manager exists. It does nothing. Like literally, i click on Manage Apps and nothing happens.

Im just gonna cancel my subscription. The app worked better as a free software.
