As many downloads (legit AND otherwise) plop themselves in our start-up menus, it's really difficult to distinguish the good from the bad.
I was wondering if there were a way to include the DATE each was installed. That way, we could sort by date and be aware of the most recent additions. (A search link might even be better!)
I felt I was just lucky when I was able to isolate one of those "YOU HAVE A VIRUS" insertions and eliminate it. But I know there are some in there I don't want. If I got the computer in September and saw things had been added in October, I could at least isolate them and see what they do.
Is this reasonable???
