I noiticed when the monitor shuts down the program stops responding. Needless to say any standby or sleep disables all scans. Have to baby sit the program... not unusual since most have to be
(for hours) monitored. Annoying…
as you say, very common.
you can always adjust the power options in Control Panel.
and there's actually a program that stops the PC from going to sleep, it's been mentioned on this forum before, but my searches failed to find the reference.

Estimated time left: 5 min,,, 10 min,,, 20 min,,, 50 min,,, 2 hours,,, 3 hours... What's up with this? It stays on this for ever, the time increases, and it never actually finishes stage 2. It hangs here. I have to bring up task manager to stop it...
