Normally when I require a custom clean the recommended boxes are checked automatically.

I have accidentally unchecked all boxes for the Custom Clean option.

How do I restore the standard items. I use Chrome and Edge.

You have a couple of options:

If you want to reset all of your settings everywhere in CCleaner then go to Options>Advanced and at the bottom of the list you'll see 'Restore Default Settings'.

If you just want to reset the ticks/unticks in Custom Clean then right-click on the Windows or Applications tabs in Custom Clean. 

That gives you the option to 'Restore Default State' for the ticks:
