I was wondering whether it would be possible to include the removal of other Microsoft Uninstalls to further tidy up the Windows directory.
For example:
$NtUpdateRollupPackUninstall$ - only applicable where Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4 is installed - to my knowledge
$SQLUninstallSQL2000-.....$ - Only applicable where SQL 2000 service packs have been installed
$SQLUninstallMDAC28.....$ - Only applicable where the MDAC 2.8 software updates are installed
$NtUninstallbasecsp$ - Only applicabe where the Microsoft Base Smart Card Cryptographic Service Provider Package is installed
I am aware that removing some software uninstalls is inherantly risky, therefore I would not be surprised if this is not feasible, I use CCleaner as I trust its non-agressive removal method, as per a post from a previous topic:
"CCleaner is known for not being as ''aggressive'' as some cleaners are.
This means the user can use it with a bit more confidence that it will not damage their system."
Thanks,
Adrian
