A quick note - Sophos Anti-Virus is, after a definitions update just now, reporting that C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe is Mal/VB-K:
Not reported this to them yet as I'm having trouble with their support website.
I'm guessing it's a false positive having had a mooch about the forums here...
Just recieved the same virus msg. from Sophos when trying to use CCleaner, will check with our IT to see if he will contact Sophos.
Yes, False Positive, report it if you can.
Have Emailed inquiry to Sophos for confirmation.
Will post response when advised.
Another user in another post had this reply form sophos:
From Sophos Today 12th July 10:41am BST:This False Positive was addressed yesterday evening.
dlo-bby.ide contains the fix...
If you have that installed (listed within the product information window within SAV) and it is still detected then please send us some samples of the files to samples@sophos.com for analysis by our labs.

that's cool to read and calms one down but i really hope that you will shed more light into this "big" problem as CCleaner is torrific as time goes.
