SONY OFFERS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR THEIR PRODUCT!

I think I've found more or less what you're looking for, and believe me, it wasn't easy. I'm past my bedtime here.
You're Sony drive is a re-badged "Lite-ON SOHW-812S". There's a download link for a firmware update in post no 5 here:
