Made the mistake of using Software updater in CCleaner pro (subscribed). Now stuck in loops at various percentages and restarts make no difference. Close and reopen and it goes to software upte at x%.
I have no idea what it might have done to my files being updated but at the moment CCl;eaner is unusable.
Any help appreciated.
Open Task Manager, right-click on anything CCleaner and ‘End Task’ on it. (There may be more than one to end).
That should stop the updater running.
You may then need to restart your machine to restart the CCleaner Task running again before you can use it again.
I only use the Software Updater as a heads-up that something has an update available. I’ll then close CCleaner, open the app that has the update available and update it from there.

It’s still reporting most of the same programs requiring update so I’ll do it manually this time
