No clue why , but Software Updater in the free version still sees Microsoft ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0 (x86) as not being up to date , even though Windows updated that 2 days ago. Still shows the prior version as current.
If you are sure that it’s up to date then ignore CCleaner. (It’s an app, you dont have to do what it says).
Updaters, both Software updaters and Driver updaters are notorious for getting things wrong.
Advanced/techie computer users never trust them, (and don’t usually use them).
Exactly what I have been doing. That particular one is tagged as being of low importance.
I have the same issue but with virtualbox and vlc apps
I hardly ever look at what it says.
If I do look, and it says something needs updating then I chack it out and if wanted then I’ll do the update myself, I don’t let CCleaner do it.
Same as I do. The only ones that seem to get notices in Software Updater prior to actually being available are the OS apps.
