Why does the Software Updater hangs at end of update? This seems to happen quite frequently with the Zoom updates, but may not be limited to that program update. I tried to attach a sample screenshot, but this Topic will not allow it to attached, even though it is an option available. Strange. It still says it is updating, but I seriously doubt it. This window has been in the same condition (frozen) for over an hour. What do I do? Thanks!
I suspect that this kind of hang happens when the individual softwares update is waiting for some input (maybe just a click) that CCleaner can’t give it.
I suggest just using CCleaners Software Updater as a notification that an installed app has an update available, but then doing the update from the app itself rather than letting CCleaner try to do it.
PS. The restriction on uploading images and posting weblinks is a common feature for forum software, it’s an anti-spam measure.
The software restricts what new users can do until they have been posting for a while.
(And yes I can see that you are not exactly new here, but the software that the forum runs on has changed since you last posted and so you are ‘new’ to that changed software).
