So I did my normal clean on my pc and YouTube broke

So I normally run a quick custom clean on my browsers and a registry and for some reason this time my YouTube connection under (stats for nerds) is dropping to where I can’t watch any video I’ve wiped my pc fully fresh install of windows and still low connection every other program works ( twitch / any game ) even my speeds are 300mbps so it’s odd only YouTube broke I seen a similar post on Reddit with no reply so I came here

I have opera gx ( but I have tryed every other browser same issue )

could this be a hardware or maybe a server connection that’s corrupted

TBH my first suspicion would be that it's YouTube messing about again.

Looking on a couple of the 'down' detector websites there do seem to be quite a few reports of problems with it yesterday.

Of course youtube have a constant cold-war trying to stop people getting round their downloading blocks, so they may have used a new cookie or something and it doesn't like it and slows down if that cookie is removed? (Only a guess).
