Small files speed

Hi,

firstly I'd like to thank you for a great soft

secondly - I'm kinda concerned about - very often I see in the bottom textbox with path of currently processed file a file with size < 100kB (e.g. 21kB) hanging there for like 0.5-1 seconds.

I think files so small should be processed so quickly I shouldn't be able to even see the path properly...I don't know, I just think so, maybe it's normal?

I rebooted to safe mode and the result is the same

I have windows 7 64bit

If it should really be faster ... is there a way how to speed it up?

Thank you (and if you need more info I'd gladly provide)

Edit 1:

I just started Defraggler in command-line in debug3 mode... I was unable to use /large (df.exe D: /debug /large) but that didn't really work, otherwise it should be same as GUI

but so far it seems to be running MUCH faster, the HDD activity increased significantly... in GUI version although it ran through large number of small files it ran slowly and HDD activity almost none and after 8 hours (provided large files were moved to back already) it defragmented only maybe a little more than 100MB out of 440GB disc

Edit 2:

So it might have been due to /large, I just figured out how to use it...meh

Yeah i have the same problem, it was moving several small files that were not fragmented but in another part of the hard drive into the larger group at the beginning.

Took over 5 hours before i stopped Defraggler and used windows 7 64bit built in degrag which only took 5 minutes to move the small files.
