I was browsing through FF extensions the other day, and I found this extension which allows you to skip those countdowns from download sites before you can download a file from them, such as RapidShare, MegaUpload, DepositFile etc. Here's the extensions link:
I've been using this for a short while, and it does work although it doesn't actually circumvent the wait time.
What it does is allow you to go do something else, and forget about the wait time. As soon as it's down to zero, Skipscreen pops up the download dialogue box in front of you, for you to simply press save.
I think it's pretty neat.
It's rather useful on RapidShare!
