Since update to Android 16, CCleaner is not working correctly and I have a Samsung A56 mobile.
I submitted a support request to your team via the “contact us”

Can you help me with this?

From, other people with the same issue, it seems to be the specific Samsung OS update that is doing this. For me on Pixel stock rom ccleaner runs fine @CCleaner_Admin

Just made an account to report this, turns out many did before.

I can confirm, same problem on my Galaxy A55. After clicking “FINISH CLEANING” it immediately takes me to the home screen and just stays there. It doesn’t do/clean anything, no matter how many times I repeat the process.

Try this. It worked for me. Start the clean. When you get the first screen, usually Chrome, as soon as you see it swipe up. Do the same thing for every other screen. Once it ends you’ll see it cleaned everything. Strange but true :+1:

Yes that worked also for me. Now wait for the update from Ccleaner

A New ccleaner for android version loaded on my device today. Can someone update and state if your Samsung Android 16 devices are still broken? I don’t know for a fact it was looked into yet, but I did notice a new version today.

Just a user like you, not staff/developer.

in android’s app info for ccleaner does it say your version is 25.20.0

Also (It’s been a WHIIIIIIILLE since i used a samsung) are you getting ccleaner from play store or a different store (i think samsung includes a separate store but see my parenthetical statement above)

I have the same version as above and it’s still broken.

I think we have to wait for an update.

Remembered the app had an update a few days ago, but I still double checked to make sure, and it is currently on that version. I tried and the same issue still happens.

And yes I downloaded & updated from the google play store.

Edit: I want to also mention that my phone (A55) got a system update for One UI 8 (I’m currently still on One UI 7). I haven’t updated it yet and wondering if I should or shouldn’t regarding this issue.

The problem for me is that nothing happens when I run the clean. That includes Chrome. It just goes and stays at the app’s home menu.

Hi All,
The version of CCleaner Android that should fix some of the issues reported for Android 16 is v25.21 which we will be rolling out very soon.
If you continue to experience issues after updating to this version please message me back so we can ivestigate this further.

It worked for me too, BUT this used be an automatic built in feature that the software completed. So,we will just have to wait for an update from CCleaner. I was all set to cancel my subscription and find a new program. So, thanks for this thread because I would miss CCleaner.

Hi All,
We have started to roll out v25.21 of CCleaner Android.
If you have not been automatically updated yet, please uninstall the app and redownload it from the Play Store, and this should give you v25.21.
You can check the version you are on by clicking the menu icon in the top left of the app and selecting About this app at the bottom of the menu.

How long can this take? I still only can download version 25.20…….
