Script execution

Two suggestions:

1. In the advanced section or wherever, allow execution of external programs so external batch, python, etc. scripts or other things can be run on cleaning.

2. Make "Chromium" cleaner module, not just Chrome. I've been trying to find a way to do this myself but nothing leaves my bookmark icons and gets rid of the speed dial thumbnails like your chrome cleaning algorithm. I tried to do it myself in python with SQLite but the chromium team stores the favicons in weird places, it's just a mess.

That is all, thanks.

Love the first idea. Would that mean that we could browse and select an executable, bat, vbs etc file to run? That would be great!

Yup, that's the idea. :)

If I could get a response from a staffer about this, or any input from anyone else, it would be much appreciated.

I love the first idea the most.

Wish we had that!

The CCleaner developers read all posts with their various suggestions and ideas, and they are all appreciated.

Unfortunately, they can't reply to them all, but they do take heed.

:)

Bump. Any news on my first suggestion?

I would love script execution. I have a number of scripts that i run at start up.

+1

You can run vb script...

Sample entry:

[My Scripts]

Section=Scripts

Default=true

ScriptKey1=c:\myscript.vbs
