Saving CCleaner settings

Hi, I'd like to save CCleaner settings for re-use on multiple PCs.

I presume that I can copy C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner.ini to a new computer BUT I have a question.

Is the .INI file upward compatible? The contents look very simple but if they change their meaning from version to version then this approach might be risky.

Thanks in advance... Bob in Saratoga Springs, NY

P.S. My apologies if this has been asked before.

It's upgrade compatible.

The only thing though with things in 'Options->Include' and 'Options->Exclude' they can be different on other systems as in the location, or even non-existent. It's of course possible to easily tidy up the .ini file manually in Notepad making it less system independent.

Thank you, Andavari, for your prompt, clear response. I copied the .INI file to my portable version of CCleaner, and the options showed up in the interface. Now I feel confident to actually use the copied .INI file. I don't have any include/exclude entries, but I'm pleased that you mentioned the possibilty that the paths might be different.

All the best, Bob
