Been trying out Sandboxie and seems quite good so far.A brief description -
On the other hand, you may want to run your Web browser inside the sandbox most of the time.
This way any incoming, unsolicited software (spyware, malware and the like) that you download, is trapped in the sandbox.
Changes made to your list of Favorites or Bookmarks, hijacking of your preferred start page, new and unwanted icons on your desktop -- all these, and more, are trapped in and bound to the sandbox.
Been using it a coupla days now.Running your browser through it seems to do everything stated. No slowdowns.Any plugins, add ons or activex are confined to the sandbox and are gone when emptied.
Has one issue I don't like though.Sandboxie tries to connect to the net on startup which I stop with ZAP till I find out why.
I am quite happy with it so far and gives you that extra bit of security but I'm sure that being a fairly new prog some more issues will arise.
