I just now installed Version v2.26.1050 of ccleaner and when i click "run Cleaner" during erasing compact databases it shows the following :

I had exactly the same error yesterday:
It appear when wanted to clean system & after this ccleaner crashed...
I was in luck cause I had system backup made 2 days earlier in Acronis :-)
But I wonder why this fault appeared and what kind of program made it...?
Please help.
The devs are looking into this, as you know, and if you guys have had no problems with previous versions, then I would suggest going back to one until the issue is sorted.

If it's your first use of CCleaner, hang fire on using any version.

The cure (temporary at least) for this error is to uncheck ,,Compact Databases" in Applications (Firefox/Mozilla). I don't know what is it but I think I don't need it anyway when I use CCleaner... ;-P

I had the exact same issue - so had just de-selected Firefox 'Compact Databases' for the time being.
Seems OK in today's new version (which is looking great, btw) - 2.27.1070
