i have to use recuva from a bootable usb on windows 10 and very recent laptop.
i tried with some boot utilites using usb, recuva works but i can not select select the path for restored files as stated in

using hiren (mini xp) was suggested but it is impossible to run minixp because of blue screen problem when starting minixp (very recent bios)
I also tried generating bootable media with rufus but no result.
Any possibility to run recuva by booting from usb and restoring
