Remove traces of CCleaner itself

I couldn't find anything about this with "search forum"... so the question:

After removing a lot of traces with CCleaner - how can I remove the traces

that I have used CCleaner? Besides getting rid of the files itself (if not run

from a USB stick or similar) it is probably a couple of registry entries (e.g.

UserAssist, ...) that have to be removed manually or with a batch file.

If you've used the portable version I'd imagine the only things left over would possibly be:

Prefetch Data:

* C:\Windows\Prefetch

MUICache:

* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache

* HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache

Any registry cleaner that's relatively good will find invalid MUICache.

If you've used the install version search the hard disk for "CCleaner", and the registry for "CCleaner" and "Piriform".
