CCleaner has suddenly identified these registry keys in my registry as issues:
HKCR\ComPlusMetaData.MsCorHost
HKCR\ComPlusMetaData.MsCorHost.2
HKCR\SymWriter.pdb
I don't recognise these entries, and other anti-virus programs (eg. Spybot, Spy Sweep, Ad-aware, etc.) don't flag them as problems. They don't appear in a HJT scan. CCleaner can't delete them permanently. I have tried deleting them in Safe Mode, etc. (following the instructions given in another posting of this kind in the forum), but these entries still keep appearing. My computer seems to be virus-free. Maybe these are legit entries, but what are they?
Can someone please tell me if (a) these entries are malicious, and if so ( how to delete them permanently? Any help would be much appreciated.
