Is there any plan to add the registry cleaner back on the sidebar as it is very importent to me as I use it every time I turn the computer off at night. It was always on there.

Such over use is useless at best, dangerous at worst.
Registry cleaning will give zero performance boost and, remove the wrong thing, and you might have to reinstall programs or even windows itself.

also reg cleaner still exists it's just been moved to a more proper place, tools.
I have used the registry part for many years and never had any problems, that was my main reason for purchasing ccleaner.
I only bought ccleaner when mcafee stopped using their registry cleaner.
For many years of my computer training I have always checked my own registry and edited as nessary especially when you remove a program which as you know always leaves entries behind.
I am Microsoft trained.
It is still in the CCleaner program but is under the Tools section now.
So you can still use it if you feel the need
Ccleaner has never given me any problems running it at all. It has never deleted any thing that has had any effect on Windows 10.
I only speak as I find.
In my opinion the registry is more use on the sidebar that some of the items that are on there.
