In CCleaner Professional Version 6, I could set the file location for the registry backups made during Registry Scans. In Version 7, I can’t select a file location, and I have no idea where the program stores them.
it doesn’t store them. imho the custom clean registry is dangerous it doesn’t allow the picking of a few entries found,.it’s all or nothing with (as far as i have found) no rollback or backup
No. The program asks me if I want to backup before cleaning and I select YES. Where does it store the backups?
I clicked on View Backups and it opened an explorer window
thus exposing the location as C:\Program Files\Piriform\CCleaner 7\data\RegistryBackup
The backups are stored in C:\Program Files\Piriform\CCleaner 7\Data\RegistryBackup.
