Hello!
I am on android 12, Huawei mate 20 pro. I accidentally deleted a folder under Total Commander. The device is not rooted. Any way to get back that files somehow? I tried Dumpster and a lot of recovery program, but those can't see that files.
If I can unlock and root am I able to get back that folder?
As far as i know there are no android recovery programs. Recuva definitely can't help as it requires a drive letter to be assigned and Android removed that ability somewhere around ice-cream
Recuva for Windows can help with Android file deletion - but only under the rather specific scenario of the deleted files on the phone having been on a memory card which can be removed and accessed on your PC via a card reader.

Which isn't much of a thing in 2022, but yes if you can otherwise mount the memory then it can be recuvad
