When doig a deep scan on a 81G NTFS drive, the scan procedure hangs after 32403 files are found. It does not show any progress from 0%.
What is the problem?
I don't know, but others have had this problem. I suggest you revert to v1.43 until it's fixed.

I missed the deep scan bit in your original post. This happens on the rare occasions I run a deep scan. After finding a relatively low number of files Recuva appears to hang at 0%. If I then wait (or do something else for a few mins) Recuva will eventually start to scan slowly through the disk to completion in about 20 mins or so. If this what you're experiencing? I don't know what you mean by an 81g drive, by the way.
