Could you give us more details please.
eg How did the files get lost? Deleted by accident, drive crasher, other?
Are you using the Recovery wizard or the Advanced options?
I assume that it’s a HDD and not a SSD? But is it a NAS drive. possibly RAID?
I’m not aware of any limits on number of files or individual file sizes.
If you have long pathnames you may be running into the Windows 260 character restriction which still affects certain processes.
Of course it’s going to take a very long time to scan a full 10TB drive for deleted files.
Is it crashing or is the machine powering down/going to sleep?
(I always set the sleep settings to ‘never’ if I’m doing a recovery).
