I am having a difficult time recovering my Quick-books files from a crashed Windows 10 Pro/Windows 7 Ultimate disk.
I actually am confused as to what to look for in my recovery panel of Recuva

so which OS do you have; WIn10 or WIn7?
what is your version of Quickbooks?
old versions used a .DAT file, newer ones use a .MYO file.
also the default location of the company file changes with the versions; either Program Files\QuickBooks or \Public Documents if you use a network version.
