Hi All-
I just did a wipe of my \movies directory on a 120gb portable USB drive. It was about 100gb of files. I have not written anything to the drive and searched and found Recuva to try and get my \movies dir back along with my movie files most of which were mkv. So I did a quick scan and it failed to find any mkv files until I checked 'scan for undeleted files' in the options. When I ran the scan again it did find the files but it said they were 0 bytes and labeled them unrecoverable. So why would they all be unrecoverable when I didnt use the drive after I deleted the directory ? The avi, vob and ISO files were recoverable though. Strange..
I didnt run the extensive scan yet, do you think I need to do that ?
Thanks in advance for any help on this.
