Recovering from NAS Drive / Network Drive

Hello!

I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I wasn't able to quickly find any thread asking it. I am wondering why Recuva can't see network drives such as NAS drives - even if they are mapped in Windows 10 as a drive. The only way it seems to recover files from one of those disks is to physically remove it from the NAS bay and physically plug it into my desktop.

If one doesn't have any more SATA ports to do so, how else can I get Recuva to see my network drive to scan it for deleted files? Thank you!

No recuva cannot see nas you are correct

I think someone has asked before about recovering from a NAS, although the supplier of the NAS might have software tools available that can be ran from within the NAS OS itself.
