Recovering Chrome bookmarks following laptop wipe

So recently my mum did a complete wipe and reinstall (restore to factory settings essentially, my files were backed up on a hardrive) on my laptop to get rid of rubbish and to make it run smoother, but after reinstalling Chrome I've noticed that all my bookmarks are gone and I can't seem to find them in Windows Explorer, so I was wondering whether it was possible to do it with Recuva? I tried recovering a file called 'Bookmarks~RF41ec6.TMP' but this didn't seem to work and I assume it wasn't my actual bookmarks.

Should I do a deep scan? Or shall I keep scrolling through the trillions of restored items looking for something remotely close to 'bookmarks'? Or is it simply not possible given the complete reset of my laptop. I had a lot of important bookmarks saved so I could really do with the help.

Many thanks!
