Have built PC with Intel mobo & CPU. Two RAID0 drives failed and in process of fixing, screwed up the 2TB SSD c: drive - not wiped, but something the RAID BIOS did to the SSD setup. I bought another SSD and have managed to start a rebuild of the PC, but now trying to recover the files - first of the C: drive and then attempt to recover from the RAID. System is Win 10 Pro, 64 bit with 32GB RAM, which I use mainly for Video editing and PhotoShop. Don’t have a recent backup as have packed up and moved out of state. I did run Recuva and in the process after the completed scan, I went for the upgrade to Pro. I lost the scan results - can I get it back without have to scan again?
Afraid not, the scan results only last as long as Recuva is open and the drive is still attached.
(So say Windows Sleeps or Hibernates a new scan will usually be needed)
It’s like that so Recuva can be sure that nothing has changed since the scan was done.
Having said that I’m not sure how sucessful any recovery from a Raid drive will be, simply because of the way that a Raid distributs data across an array of multiple discs.
You may want to have a read of these before trying to recover from a Raid:
This one gives 4-steps that you should go through before using Recuva for file recovery from a Raid:
Good luck and I hope you can get the fikes you want back.
