Quick Launch icons disappearing

Can some one please tell me the setting that causes the quick launch icons to get deleted, so that I can uncheck this option.

Windows 7 64 bit

ccleaner 4.05.4250

I am assuming that you have Winapp2.ini installed for CCleaner (be sure that you have the latest version of Winapp2.ini installed if you are running Winapp2.ini). On the applications tab, uncheck

Windows 7/8 QuickLaunch*

Windows QuickLaunch DiagnosedApplications*

Windows QuickLaunch ImplicitAppShortcuts*

this topic shows the dangers of using the winapp2 template wholesale and not looking through entries.

(I'm not chastising the original poster, but warning him/her and others for future decisions).
