A few days ago, I used the "wipe free disk space" option on CCleaner for the first time. After using it, I've come to this assumptions. I've noticed that during the process, these files are being created which eats up all of the free space in the hard drive, then the files delete themselves after the process is done. My question is where these files are coming from that eat up the disk space on the hard drive. Are they downloaded from the Internet? Would it count as Internet usage for per GB used or something like that?
They're created internally by CC and are used to overwrite (wipe) the free space on the disk. There's no internet usage during CC's actions.
Okay. That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks for your help. =)
