Problems with CCleaner & Windows 8

I have installed the latest version of Ccleaner in my Windows 8 (x64) computer. When I click the icon to scan for and delete internet traces, the scanning process hangs on 2%. I've never had problems with Ccleaner before. Can someone please tell me why it is hanging under Windows 8? Thanks

Please wait until V3.25, as that'll be the first release since Windows 8 Proper, and the devs will likely have fixed Windows 8 related bugs.

Thanks for the reply. I see that we are on 3.24.1850 at present. Do you have any idea of when 3.25 might be released?

most likely december, (released monthly) however i don't have any issues cleaning my win8

Probably about two weeks from now, as CCleaner is generally released towards the end of each month.

+1 to this post. I've never had issues with CCleaner either so I'm hoping the bugs will be fixed in the next version for Windows Eight.
